Dr Maldonado is an Associate Professor at the School of Public Health, University of Minnesota, and his research interests focus on epidemiologic methodology. He joinsDr Carl Phillipsin leading the journal, supported by an expertEditorial Board.

Epidemiologic Perspectives & Innovationsis an开放获取, peer-reviewed, online journal focusing on epidemiologic research methods, applications, critical overviews, teaching tools, perspectives, and other analytic work. The journal has an unofficial Impact Factor of 1.46.
