Dr. Harvy Joy Liwanag is an Editorial Board Member ofBMC Health Services Researchand Postdoctoral Fellow of theUnited Nations University International Institute for Global Health (UNU-IIGH),the UN think tank for global health. He is a licensed medical doctor and a health policy and systems researcher with a keen interest in building global health knowledge relevant to low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).

Ms. Leah List is a Senior Program Associate for theLearning Network for Countries in Transitionteam atResults for Development (R4D).She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and international studies from the University of Michigan where she focused on human rights, international law, and Arabic.
